This is the full version of the (almost) completed music video for a track I created called The Event (soon to be released on L&J recordings).
It started off as another Plexus experiment but after showing it to Loomis and my brother I decided to see where I could take it. It follows the routes of some kind of inter galactic ships as they're tracked by "space traffic control."
The diagrams are taken from something known as the Caret Documents; said to have come from outer space and back engineered by humans! (not to mention used in Alienware's marketing for a few years now). I'm still undecided on them for the final FINAL version at present but have also been doodling these kinds of crop circle diagrams like Roy Neary for years now so might use them instead.

The track itself takes much of it's influence from the soundtrack composer Cliff Martinez; the ambience and mellow nature of some of his work on Solaris and Drive also has a mysterious and almost sinister aspect to them, I've tried to inject a little of this into the track in places.
