I'm creating my own personal database that can
'translate' any given musical subject into visuals. I
try not to just tell my own stories, but also aim for
the viewer to recognize them.
As myths from different cultures have crossed
paths and influenced each other, combining their
symbols into a myriad of possible meanings, the
remaining task, as I see it, has been to interpret
and unlock their hidden message.
Ultimately, I believe, these compositionsattempt to
reveal the greater Unity underlying all cultural
manifestationsof the Sacred. But then, I do not
want to use these symbols in any director literal
way, rather I try to translate and reinvent them,
shaping them into my own visual sign-language of
emotions.
